Hmmm. Apparently this site ain't working right in Internet Explorer. Seems to work fine in everything else, though:

Right now I've got this wicked (see, I'm a northerner now) stomach flu, so I'll get to fixing it some other time. Thanks for letting me know.

Since I'm so flattered to be listed as one of the four people who regularly read your site, I thought I should give you some feedback!

I don't know what a "three column" design actually means, but there's an endless columb of white space on the right-hand side of the screen, which I'm guessing is a result of that design? It's distracting, but I wonder if that's where "Asides" and "Recent Posts" should be? On my computer (sadly, a PC) those categories fall on the left, below your post about Colbert. I think anyone who's unfamiliar with your site wouldn't know to look for them there...

Nope. But "Demo Reel" is also not going to be its own page, it'll be part of an "Audiovisual" tab... once I get that up.

I used to like the idea of liquid designs much better--they seemed to make the most efficient use of space, no matter what the screen size--but once you get used to working on widescreen displays, you realize it's counterproductive to be maximizing your browser window to 1650 or 1440 or whatever width. Thus you end up using windows sized at 1000-and-change anyway.

The one thing I don't like about this new design is that I think it's less readable, despite using the same fonts as before. So it goes.

I like the new look. The wide format seems to be the trend, cnn.com and wsj.com for example recently moved to the 3 column, fixed-width style.

Is DEMO REEL all caps intentionally as a tab?
