From NAB: Rotolight, Cinedeck, Ikan
One last NAB post with some more coverage from my friends at FreshDV. The Rotolight is only $125 — ridiculously cheap for what looks like quality on-camera lighting (I have a $500 Frezzolini Micro kit, which is a smaller source and therefore harsher). And the Cinedeck looks interesting, although I can’t help but wonder if a SmallHD monitor and a separate external recorder won’t be a less expensive (and perhaps better-balanced) system going forward.
