Adding to its Ki Pro line, AJA has introduced the Ultra Plus, which we highlighted earlier this week. The recorder offers multi and single-channel recording for 4K/UltraHD/2K/HD Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHD MXF. Four channels of simultaneous HD video can be recorded in Apple ProRes via 3G-SDI and its newly added HDMI 2.0 connection.

In addition to video, the Ultra Plus provides 16-channel audio support through AES and XLR inputs. It also features a headphone jack for monitoring, and media is recorded directly to super fast SSD media for easy playback.
