The Insta360 Pro camera offers 6K stereoscopic (3D) or 8K monoscopic video. The processor inside the camera does real-time 3D stitching, recording the image to the SD card or out of the HDMI. The stitching algorithm is based on "optical flow" for maximum depth information. See it for yourself in the video above, and here are a few of the important details:

  • Remote operated
  • Removable battery that powers it for 65-75 minutes
  • Stitching software comes with camera
  • HDMI out
  • Takes stereoscopic 8K stills
  • Records to SD cards or out through USB
  • $3,500
  • Pre-orders open at insta360.com, shipping at end of May
