GH4 – free iOS beta – Wireless monitor, anamorphic de-squeeze, fake-LUT

A week or two ago I wrote that I was thinking of building an app for GH4.

Now I have.

I've been getting great feedback—and I've added more features from the feedback.

Sign up for free beta: http://bit.ly/scopes-ios-beta

Features
--- Liveview – like Pana app but FULL SCREEN
--- Anamorphic de-squeeze (1.3x, 1.5x, 2x)
--- "fake-LUT" image controls for brightness, saturation, contrast (great for V-Log)

Upcoming
--- Real LUT support
--- Camera control (for you gimbal shooters out there)

Works with probably any iPhone or iPad newer than iPhone 4S and with iOS 9 or higher.

I promise this will be my last NFS post about this.

Marcus,

You should reconsider the design of your website.
I skipped after 1 click after not getting any information.

It is a catastrophe. I hate those pages: "please click here, and here please click one more time,.... and now register,....."

I you want to share any good development: DO IT ON THE FIRST PAGE!
This is an important advice I give you for free.

If you want to....
- post more information
- post more screenshots

Even if the beta is free: encourage visitors why they should register and try your app.
What are the main benefinits over the Panasonic App etc.?

Hey Jeffrey, thanks for taking the time to write this up. I'm just one single developer working on this after my regular job, and I've been spending all that limited time on developing the app (three weeks ago it didn't exist!). That's why the "website" is just a simple typeform where I collect info from people who would like to be a part of shaping the app. It's been working very well so far, and I've been getting nothing but positive feedback. In the future I will be able to focus more on making a proper website.

If you want me to add you to the beta without filling out the form I'm happy to do that for you. Send me the email address you'd like to use for the beta in a private message (or in a direct message on Twitter).

Cheers,
Marcus
