How to shoot a Pov shot of a running person

I'm gonna shoot a long take shot for my movie. At one point the shot will turn into a pov shot. And then the character, so the camera, will run, walk and search things etc. I wanna ask what do you suggest to shoot a scene like this, to give the sensation of that we are looking through the characters eyes while he's running or walking, or looking back. Which lens would you use? 50mm or somethin else? And which equipments would you use? I thing I will use Opteka CXS-300 shoulder rig. Can I get the effect I wanted?

I believe the best way is to create a head mount. It will sell the FPS view accurately.
