Online self-distribution for feature film?

Would you suggest other Free Online Services besides Amazon, Youtube and Vimeo?

I mean a Zero-Budget service with the kind of viewer interested in indie and experimental films, and lots of viewers like that.

Thank you for the support...

You should look into working with Indie Flix. They are like the Netflix of independent films and focus a lot on paying the filmmakers. I believe that they give 70% of the their earnings back to the filmmakers based on how long their film was watched. I have heard really good things about it but never have known anyone to go with them though.

I cannot recommend strongly enough NOT to work with Indie Flix. Do not do this. It is not a model which serves you, the filmmaker. I've met with them at numerous festivals and events and heard folks talk about their experience with them.

The secret to earning any money back on your work is to know who your audience is and where they are. Haven't seen "Reelhouse" but Bryon seems a fan. For my collaborators, they connect to fans through twitter, tumblr, and youtube and are building a following that invests and pays for content.

I say REELHOUSE.ORG is the best platform right now. They only take a 6% cut of your revenue and no costs to sign up. You also get the money every month, and very transparent accounting. The user layout is really cool and easy to use, and also they help you collect emails from your viewers to market your next project. I highly recommend them and I am now releasing my 3rd feature with them. Check out my page at http://www.reelhouse.org/beyondcinema

I bought independent films on Gumroad, which was very easy to navigate.

Gumroad was very profitable for my docu "I Am Road Comic" back when this thread started, but now VHX.tv seems better. Vimeo owns it. Great support in matter of hours, even on weekends.
