Shooting 4k on the A7SII

Hey guys, been sitting on this one for a while as the answer's probably something really obvious! When I select XAVC S 4K in the menu of the A7SII and return to the viewer display, it then says XAVC S HD 25p and is only recording 1080p footage... what am I doing wrong? The SD card is a brand new SanDisk Extreme 90MB/s U3 64GB – I was told this card would be good for 4k recording. :/ Any pointers?

If you can shoot 4K and your gear can handle it, you should.

Okay just an update here. I just received a Sandisk Extreme Pro U3 280mb/s 64gb card from B&H (yeah, the expensive ones), put it in A7SII and selected 4k recording – and still no luck, it's still only recording 1080p MP4s! Is this camera cursed!?

I'm looking into purchasing the A7Sii, and I've been trying to find which SD cards to get. A friend uses this camera and says she is only able to get 4k to record with a Sony branded SD card. She recommended the 64gb 95mbps U3 Class 10. I've also read that people across the board are having more success with the Sony branded cards, for whatever reason.
