Mikko, very interesting article. But now I would like for you to compare your top rated lens with the Canon L 50mm 1.2- If a $20K -40K lens is that much better than a $2,000 lens I would like to visually see why so I can educate my mind. I'm not making fun of your article I just want to see WHY the expensive lens are that much better. And yes I know, the Canon isn't a cinematic lens. Thanks
Typical lens are sharpest F8-F11. Lowest f stop is a no no unless needed for light.
Waste of time- Blending the video is the challenging part but he never covered it.
The best movie of the year is "Hidden Figures". This one movie is doing more for the future of this country than 50 "La La Lands".
Good production values but story is messed up. What are you trying to say to your audience? At first I though it was a commercial for Perirer because the name and color clearly stood out. Lesson learned here is never show a full front shot of a label. Even though it was in a different language the story should have been clearer which it wasn't. If it's a pilot for a mini series what is it with all the people coming into the apartment? Is it a cooking pilot? A film school project? Cuts were too short and quick. Some parts were hard to follow. Good luck with your future projects.
Ever hear of a C100, as an example? Very professional for the money.
