ok this is cool...and I'm not hating, but.... techno crane w remote head, trailer crane on the street and some whip pans ...... not exactly NASA sh*t .... good execution, yes, but at this level and budget you'd expect nothing less.
So agree... a 21 year old with limited talent. Sorry, but I watched her short film, See How Easy That Was ... See Mistake Number 4 .. then again maybe all short films suck... not sure. The good news, she is cute has passion and family in the business, and doesn't have to "work" for a living ..... it would / will be interesting to see what she is up to when she turns 30.
Sure is a bunch of whining here...lol....The more platforms and money from them chasing content the bigger the pie .... forest for the trees kids, forest for the trees
I don't understand the "Even though the video is comically over-the-top.." statement but.... i thought this was pretty awesome, go Nikon!!
Agreed, and their goal was only 100k (of course they have commitments for much more) I doubt you can design, tool up, manufacture and bring to market a product like this for 100k. I guess this is really more of a marketing play. As to why Steadicam would build this?...that is easy ... they have a limited market for their professional products, billions of people have smart phones!
