I would go for the xc15 but my advice would be to rent both and see which camera you prefer.
"It takes up a lot of room" was certainly true in years past, but with today's storage capacities, saving uncompressed audio files should not take up much room at all for anyone.
I totally agree with this. However, it's obvious that the so called MODS working the forums here either don't have the time or the inclination to deal with this. Likely both... Lean times these days.
I find it extremely clunky. I wish I could use it all the time, but it's just not there yet for me, and there is no way it's a better NLE than FCPX IMO. On a side note, your post had a marketing feel to it for me. But hey, congrats on finding the perfect NLE for you.
How does one get points anyway? Is it just a matter of people liking your posts?
Other then a bit of Neat Video, I would say that I never do a 'proper grade' with this camera. It's beauty for me is it's ability to capture an awsome image and audio out of the bag with no hassles in production or post. Also it's good to keep in mind that before the A7s came around, this camera was regarded as the low light beast. This camera isn't disregarded, more like it's over shadowed by the C300, which provided Broadcast Quality video. I love both cameras personally.
