I've had the Ursa Mini 4.6K for over a year now and I rarely shoot in 4.6K , or even 4K. 90% of the time I'm shooting 2K w/ ProRes HQ.
I watched an in depth BTS video from Mad Max Fury Road. They shot Day for Night in the middle of the day. The DP said that he overexposed as well. When bringing down the exposure drastically you'll get darker mids and shadows (while retaining detail) and your highlights will appear as moonlighting. Shooting in RAW so that you can adjust the WB to be super cool blue.
I would imagine they'd make a couple of great indie films, then get hired to direct a Marvel movie. Halfway into production they'd get fired.
The diffusion idea is great! I always end up using 2 stands.
Wait, $749 includes the remote pan tilt head?
I love this. Here's my question everytime I see a device that connects thru WiFi. Does the connection have to go through an existing WiFi internet hotspot, or can it connect directly to the Teradek (with no internet connection)?
