My favorite lens is 50mm anamorphic, which I feel represents a human eye POV pretty accurately.
Wow. 15lb capacity. I can't imagine putting the Ursa Mini on that, but if so very cool.
I've had the Ursa Mini 4.6K for over a year now and I rarely shoot in 4.6K , or even 4K. 90% of the time I'm shooting 2K w/ ProRes HQ.
I watched an in depth BTS video from Mad Max Fury Road. They shot Day for Night in the middle of the day. The DP said that he overexposed as well. When bringing down the exposure drastically you'll get darker mids and shadows (while retaining detail) and your highlights will appear as moonlighting. Shooting in RAW so that you can adjust the WB to be super cool blue.
I would imagine they'd make a couple of great indie films, then get hired to direct a Marvel movie. Halfway into production they'd get fired.
