SpidvidSpidvid, a website currently in beta, is offering a "social platform" for producers to post projects, build and manage a team, and distribute video. Editors, shooters, and other production folk can bid on tasks and get reviewed upon project completion, theoretically moving up to bigger and better projects as they accumulate positive feedback. I haven't used the site itself but their intro video explains it all:

They've also published a manifesto entitled Hollywood Is Doomed - The Rise of Creative Collaboration Teams. While I didn't go so far as to declare Hollywood dead in my own manifesto, I get where they're coming from.

Most sites of this ilk are made or broken by whether or not they can build a large enough community, and that remains to be seen with SpidVid. While the site's tools seem fairly lightweight at this early stage, it might be worth a look if you're looking to put together a decentralized video production team.
