MaestroTimelapse photography is everywhere now, but other than to show the passage of time, it's rarely used as a storytelling device. Director Adam Anthony's short "The Maestro" was a finalist at this year's Tropfest, and finds a way to integrate the effect into the story:


Cinematographer Tony Gardiner shot the short on a Canon 5D Mark II using available light at ISO 1600-3200. Lenses were reportedly the L series 24mm t1.4, 50mm t1.2, 16-35mm t2.8, 24-70mm t2.8, and 70-200mm t2.8.
