The 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival looks more like a dream than a selection of films. Packed with work from Oscar winners like Joel and Ethan Coen, Roman Polanski, and Asghar Farhadi, this year's festival is set to amaze. Of the 20 films, 5 are from the U.S., and lucky for us, 2 of those U.S. films -- Alexander Payne's Nebraska and Jim Jarmusch's Only Lovers Left Alive -- have released clips giving you a sneak peek just in time for Cannes' opening day.

Payne's film Nebraska follows a father and son (Bruce Dern and Will Forte) as they travel from Montana to Nebraska to collect prize money. However, along the way they meet up with several friends and family members to whom the father owes money. Payne decided to shoot in black and white to achieve an "iconic, archetypal look," which creates an interesting juxtaposition with the dark humor of the film. Jarmusch brings us Only Lovers Left Alive, a romantic drama about vampires. The film follows Adam (Tom Hiddleston), an underground musician and Eve (Tilda Swinton) as they rekindle their centuries long romance. However, their love is tested by Eve's "wild and uncontrollable" little sister Ava (Mia Wasikowska). Shot on location in Detroit, Tangiers, and Hamburg, the film creates a romantically dark and melancholic mood, one that Jarmusch is definitely known for. Check out the clips below:
