Magic_Lantern_logo-whiteIf you've been following the Magic Lantern RAW video news, you have probably seen quite a bit of material from the Canon 5D Mark II and the 5D Mark III. The hack, however, is working on many of Canon's cameras, including the 50D (a camera that never shot video before), 60D, 6D, and more. Even if a camera is supported, that doesn't mean you're necessarily going to get full resolutions while recording continuously  so Roman over on the Magic Lantern forum has put together a list of the Canon cameras and max burst and continuous resolutions currently supported. Check out if your camera is currently supported below.

This is the newest version that was posted in the forum, but it will be updated frequently (click for larger -- updated on 7/4/13):

As noted above, some of these cameras can take the VAF anti-aliasing filter from Mosaic Engineering, which gets rid of the majority of ugly moire artifacts on the image. While there are some minor downsides to using one of these, the sharpness of the RAW hack combined with the elimination of moire, is a heck of a combination.

What's interesting is that it looks like a camera like the full-frame 6D or the APS-C 60D would both give excellent image quality at 1080 were it not for the slower SD card spec. New developments are happening every day, so there is no reason to rule anything out at this point, but if you want full 1080 quality at more than 24fps and no performance issues, the 5D Mark III is the most supported at this point.

You can find the full list at the link below, and it will likely continue to be updated throughout this Pre-Alpha size of the newer firmware.
