Red Giant - PluralEyes 3Though it's been available on the Mac for some time, there has been quite a bit of demand for a Windows port of PluralEyes 3. That support is now a reality, as Red Giant has finally announced the Windows version of the popular audio syncing software. It contains all the same features and fast syncing of previous versions, except, of course, it now works on the PC. Click through for more on compatibility and pricing information.

Here is Red Giant on their blog about how much it will cost you if you haven't already given version 3 a shot:

  • PluralEyes 3: $199
  • PluralEyes 3 Upgrade: $79
  • Academic: $79

IMPORTANT: Anyone who purchased DualEyes 2 or PluralEyes 2  (Windows or Mac) after March 17, 2012 is eligible for a FREE upgrade. A coupon code will be emailed to you shortly. Also, anyone who purchased PluralEyes 3 (Mac) gets Windows compatibility in this free PluralEyes 3 update – Get the free update HERE. That’s part of our Red Pledge Guarantee.

PluralEyes 3 on Windows works with Sony Vegas 10-12, Avid Media Composer 5.5-6.5, and Adobe Premiere Pro CS5-CS6. Of course, many more are familiar with the plugins, here's how to get started with Premiere CS6:

I'm sure this will be welcome news for many who've been looking to speed up their syncing in post, but only have Windows machines at their disposal. I also think it's great that they are giving free support to Mac users who've already purchased the software -- I'm sure that will help save quite a few headaches in post switching between platforms.
