screencraftToday, ScreenCraft announced that they are now taking entries into the 2014 Action & Thriller Script Contest, which will feature cash prizes (that they've doubled since last year), as well as a venerable panel of top industry judges, including executives from Paramount, Fox, Warner Brothers, and more. So, if you have a script that fits into the action/thriller genre and you want to compete for the chance to get it in front of some real movers and shakers, then we've got the details on how to enter.

ScreenCraft makes it easy to submit your screenplay; just fill out the online entry form, pay your $39 early entry fee ($49 after August 15th), and you're done. Screenplays can be up to 140 pages and you can submit as many as you like. Anyone from anywhere in the world can submit, but you have to be 18 years or older. Prizes

  • First place: $2,000 cash, consultation with a top action movie producer, consultation with Escape Plan writer Miles Chapman
  • Second place: $200 cash and a phone consultation with a top literary manager

Judges

As always, ScreenCraft makes it a point to bring on a distinguished panel of judges who are highly involved in producing some of today's biggest Hollywood films. Judges like Aaron Ensweiler, Vice President at 20th Century Fox-based shingle Hutch Parker Entertainment (The Wolverine, X: Men Days of Future Past) and David Whitney, Director of Development at Disruption Entertainment at Paramount.
