Atomos had a few announcements of their own over the last few days. They introduced a new product, the Power Station, that aims to give extra juice not only to your camera, but other devices as well. They also announced that the Shogun external recorder will be capable of 4K 60fps not long after it ships next month (via cinema5D):

Here are the full specs on the Power Station, which is going to run about $300 and will start shipping in October:

  • Continuous Power *Patent Pending Primary-Secondary battery system. Change batteries without losing power. Loop batteries continuously. Falls back on battery power if mains power lost.
