What is the greatest Christmas movie, you ask? A Miracle on 34th Street? A little too much cynicism. It's a Wonderful Life? I don't like to contemplate the meaninglessness of life while in a room full of love and joy and Almond Roca. (That's for Valentine's Day.) Home Alone? Damn -- I do love Home Alone -- but the pranks of a sarcastic Kevin McCallister are no match for Ralphie's sincere burning desire for a Red Ryder Carbine Action 200-shot Range Model air rifle in A Christmas Story.

If you love that movie as much as I do (I'm actually watching it for the second time today as I write this), then you'll get a kick out of CineFix's short retelling of the classic with the aesthetic charm of 8-bit video games from the 80s, the same era A Christmas Story comes from. So sit back, relax, and enjoy.
