Now the company is back with an interesting new product that takes their 4K camera and gimbal out of the sky and puts it into your hand (thanks to Ben Popper from The Verge for the coverage):


There is no price announced yet, but it likely won't be too cheap considering the almost-$3,000 cost for the Inspire 1. It seems like you'll already need the drone when this is released sometime later this year, but we'll see if they sell the camera separately with the gimbal for people who want a GoPro-like experience in their hand. If DJI wants to get into the handheld game a bit, having a relatively inexpensive and stabilized rig that could be mounted anywhere would be a good start.
