At their keynote, the company showed off a number of new cameras, including a 4K Handycam retailing for $1,000 (which is half the price of last year's CES announced cam), and their first 4K Action Cam, which is aimed squarely at the market who might buy a GoPro HERO4.

The new 4K Action Cam will cost $500 (or $600 with a live view remote) and shoot UHD up to 30fps, 1080p up to 120fps, and 720p up to 240fps. It also can playback 4K through its HDMI port on any 4K display, and features built-in image stabilization (something GoPro lacks). They've got a slightly less expensive version, the AS200V, which will retail for $300 but can only do 1080p 60fps and 720p 120fps.

Also at the keynote, Sony introduced some HD handycams with built-in projectors, the Sony HDR-PJ670 for $700 and the Sony HDR-PJ440 for $400. In addition, they showed off two standard HD handycams, the $300 HDR-CX440 and the $230 HDR-CX405. All of them shoot 1080p 60fps, but the HDR-PJ670 looks like it has the most frame rate options, including 24p.
