Over at the Kinefinity booth at NAB, we were able to get up close and personal with the KineMax 6K, which shoots internal 6K, 4K, 3K, 2K, HD, and 720p, and has 14 stops of dynamic range.

This is yet another camera that made an appearance at NAB for the second year in a row, (the VariCam35 is another), which has given filmmakers eagerly waiting for this bad boy to ship plenty of time to stew in their excitement. And it's understandable why -- the images we've seen thus far from the KineMax have been nothing short of stunning. Not to mention that the price isn't so exorbitant that low-budget filmmakers will never be able to get their hands on it (renting or buying).

If you haven't seen footage taken with the KineMax 6K, here are a few videos that'll get you acquainted.

The shipping date for the KineMax 6K is set for the end of May (for preorders), and will cost about $11,000 depending on the model, package, etc. you buy. Based on high customer interest, Kinefinity is still running their "First 100 Units" promotion, which means that you can still preorder the camera until April 30th.
