So, the people behind Google Street View -- yeah, that's Immersive Media. They are the forerunners of 360-degree capture, which is why it was pretty exciting to stop by their booth at NAB and talk about the services they provide, as well as what the future of virtual reality looks like.

And here's the full 3D interactive version of the interview. Feel free to drag the screen wherever and look around!

Even though virtual reality and 360-degree filmmaking are still in their infancy (read: not widely used), it seems as though Immersive Media is right there on the cusp. They create the camera systems, recorders, and the stitching software to provide clients with an end-to-end service that encompasses pretty much everything they'll need to produce 360-degree video.

Head on over to their website to check out what Immersive Media is all about.
