Sachtler is well known for the quality of their tripods, but not so much for their affordability. That changed that a few years ago when they released the Ace tripod, which at roughly $500, made for a quality budget option for shooters with smaller camera systems. Since then, Sachtler has has pushed the Ace line of products to include more tripods, a baseplate, a follow focus, and a matte box. Micah Van Hove caught up with Danna Kinsky of Sachtler at NAB last week to learn more:

All of the products Danna talks about in the video are currently available for purchase at B&H. The Ace M tripod will set you back $612. The Ace follow focus will set you back $662. And a full kit of Ace accessories (including the base plate, follow focus, and matte box) comes in at $1350.
