If you use a GoPro, chances are you've been there—using up your battery life on a bunch of useless footage that you end up trashing anyway, all the while missing out on recording the moments you actually wanted to capture. Well, POA Labs aims to cut down on all three with their hands-free GoPro accessory, the GoHawk, which allows you to hit record using your mouth.

Not only are there three switches to choose from (Handlebar, Tongue, and Bite), but the GoHawk improves on the GoPro Hero4 with more functionality right out of the box.

  • Remote shutter button input: Save time by only shooting the photos you want, not the ones you don't. Choose from a hands-free mouth switch or thumb triggered handlebar switch, or use your own switch with the universal 2.5mm port.
  • Remote LED indicator: Lets you know that your camera is on and recording. Mount it in your helmet or wrap it around your handlebars.
  • Auxiliary USB Power Input: For extended shooting - never run out of power again!

GoHawk packages range from $100 to $170 depending on how early you pledge and what is included. For example, if you get the package that includes a GoHawk, LED indicator, and Tongue or Bite switch, you're looking at dropping $170. It's not super inexpensive, but you do get a bunch of great added features and functionality.

GoHawk is currently running a campaign on Kickstarter, so head on over there to learn more.
