'Pulp Fiction' Gets Deconstructed in This Full-Length Film Analysis
Quentin Tarantino has made some spectacular films during his 24-year career, but none have been more talked about, dissected, and studied than Pulp Fiction.

Video essayist Darren Foley provides a full-length commentary of Tarantino's seminal project, Pulp Fiction, which not only provides great information on the production of the film, but also includes some excellent film analysis. This video gives us something a little different than we might expect from a popular video essayist like Foley. We get a little break from the highly intellectual and complex film analysis that many video essays provide to enjoy an educational format that most of us are probably familiar with. I can't tell you how often I'm trying to encourage people to amp up their visual storytelling. Burton's signature style is as important as his written words. Pay attention to set design, lighting, costumes, and camera angles to create mood and atmosphere.
