If you're a fan of Tarantino's work you may be slightly disappointed by his reluctance to do any commentary tracks for his own films (strange, considering how talkative he is). You're kind of relegated to gather whichever interviews or film critiques you can find on the internet, but if you've been looking for something along the lines of a traditional commentary, you're finally in luck.

Video essayist Darren Foley provides a full-length commentary of Tarantino's seminal project, Pulp Fiction, which not only provides great information on the production of the film, but also includes some excellent film analysis. This video is best watched alongside the film itself, but you can probably get away with simply listening in. So, get ready and hunker down for 2 1/2 hours of goodness.

This video gives us something a little different than we might expect from a popular video essayist like Foley. We get a little break from the highly intellectual and complex film analysis that many video essays provide to enjoy an educational format that most of us are probably familiar with. In fact, film commentaries were probably where you got your first taste of film education, right?

Granted, we're not getting insight from the director or other people who worked on the project, but we are getting plenty of helpful information that will help us become better filmmakers.
