What do architects and filmmakers have in common? More than you might think. And they can help each other.

The I Look Up Film Challenge is an opportunity for architects and filmmakers to come together to showcase how architecture transforms communities. If you're a filmmaker who is also interested in architecture or design, enter a 3-minute film that makes an architect's work accessible, and you could win festival screenings and other great prizes.


Winners will be chosen by an esteemed group of judges such as Moonlight producer John Montague and VP at Lucasfilm's Skywalker Sound Glenn Kiser. They will be flown to Chicago and New York City to screen films at the Architecture and Design Film Festivals in November. Winners also win cash prizes, such as $5,000 in cash, $500 Zacuto gift certificates, and more.
