Break out the champagne because The Moët Moment Film Festival is back and ready to give out some extra funds to help you make your movie. This will be the third year of the annual competition, whose mission is to inspire a new generation of talent dedicated to telling their stories through the art of film. Moët launched the inaugural MMFF in 2016 as an annual fund designed to give back to the creative community and support the next generation of storytellers.
The prize is serious. If your film is selected as the winner, you could win a $25,000 grant. All you have to do is create and submit a 30-60 second film. When they say short, they mean short.
The prompt centers around the theme "Celebration." They ask, "Whether it be physical, emotional, intellectual or ethereal, we want to know: what is your cause for celebration?" It could be a small everyday moment, a special occasion or an issue that you're passionate about. Tell us what your cause for celebration is.
Anyone can enter their short film online until April 5 at MoetFilmFest.com, but entrants must be 21 or older to enter. Videos, however, do not need to feature Moët & Chandon Champagne. The winners will be celebrated at an event during Tribeca Film Festival in April.
All films will be judged and selected by an illustrious panel of film industry personalities, including actresses Billie Lourd and Laura Dern, and members from the HFPA and Tribeca Film Festival.
