RigWheels introduced us to its Cloud Mount Slingshot here at NAB. Different than the previous mounts that worked under compression, the Slingshot has elastic bands doing all the work. The elastic tubes provide suspension and isolation and the cables provide structure. The company has also created a two-magnet kit so you can easily mount a DSLR onto a car. The Cloud Mount Slingshot starts at $750 and goes up to $1500. The two-magnet kit costs $250 and ships now.
