It's not every day that one of the hottest production companies in Tinseltown opens its doors for the masses, but Jordan Peele's massively successful MonkeyPaw Productions has done just that. The company behind Key & PeeleGet OutBlacKkKlansman, and many upcoming projects including Us and a re-boot ofThe Twilight Zone, is now accepting open submissions from just about anyone who may fancy themselves a screenwriter.

If you consider yourself to be one of these people, then go ahead and check out the handy online form, submit, and keep those fingers crossed. You have the ability to submit either a pilot or a feature film. As always, however, it's important to take into consideration the legal stipulations that come with an opportunity like this, and the AV Club did a nice job of summing up what you could be in for:

"Specifically, the fine print points out that you submitting your work does not establish any kind of confidential relationship between you and the studio, which means that people at the studio can talk about your screenplay with whoever they want. It also absolves itself of any responsibility to you if Monkeypaw (or some other studio that someone at Monkeypaw talked to) starts developing a project that is similar to your screenplay. After all, Monkeypaw is “constantly developing entertainment and other properties from ideas generated by its employees and/or other outside sources” and “it is not uncommon for more than one individual or company to originate substantially similar ideas independent of each other.”

The full text of terms and conditions is right next to the form itself, so definitely take some time to read it, but damn, if your script is selected, this could be one hell of an opportunity. Be sure and act fast because this opportunity could potentially disappear as suddenly as it arose.
