Nikon showcased a robotic camera system that boldly goes where no sports camera operator has gone before. It's called the Polycam Player and, through body and facial recognition technology, allows operators to robotically and remotely track teams, offense or defense, groups of players, or individual players. It's also seamlessly integrated into broadcast technology and can be used with pretty much any camera, including the Nikon D5.

The Bolt High-Speed Cinebot was also demonstrated at the Nikon booth, which, as you might know, is a robotic arm that allows operators to capture precise footage by programming specific camera moves. Though it can be used with virtually any camera, its true majesty is displayed when used with high-speed cameras, like a Phantom.
