Win Gear and Glory with LaCie's 'Behind The Door' Challenge

It's 4:00 in the morning... and someone, or something, is knocking at your door... What is it?

Well, that's up to you!

The LaCie COLLECTIVE's current video contest is the perfect fit for the Halloween season: Use your imagination, creativity, and filmmaking skills to create a 60-second video for The Behind the Door Challenge.  

All videos need to follow the same suspense-building prompt: It's 4 am, and someone or something is at the door. But from there, the freedom is yours.

The Resident Pro for this challenge is Colombian film director and creature master, Miguel Ortega. You've seen his work in Thor, A Night at the Museum, and Krampus among others.

Films will be judged on innovation and suspense, cinematography, performances, and editing/post. One Grand Prize Winner will walk away with a bundle of treats, including a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, DJI Mavic 2 Pro, LaCie 2big Dock 20TB, and a Gnomon School of VFX Online Class (Miguel Ortega is a professor at Gnomon) to continue your horror training. There are Runner-up prizes and a Behind-The-Scenes prize as well!

You have until November 15th, 2019 tosubmit. For a little inspiration, check out Miguel Ortega's, The Ningyo, most of which was shot in his living room.
