Sigma Unveils MC-21 Mount Converters for Sigma SA-L and Canon EF-L

Since first announced just last month, the Panasonic LUMIX S1 is already getting some good reviews and buzz. And while the LUMIX S1 is still in its pre-order phase, Sigma is getting a head start on finding ways for anxious videographers and filmmakers to make sure that their favorite lenses will be available for use once they get their hands on the S1.

The first iteration of the MC-21 mount unveiled by Sigma will be to use Sigma SA-mount lenses on your Leica L-mount mirrorless camera. The MC-21 mount includes a removable tripod mount option and integrated LED for viewing lens compatibility. The mount also supports lens data on chromatic aberration, distortion correction and peripheral illumination.

Sigma MC-21 EF-Mount to Leica L

Similar to the SA-Mount version, the MC-21 EF-Mount will allow you to connect your Sigma EF lenses to your Leica L-mount camera systems with complete lens performance. This means image stabilization, in-camera correction, and autofocus and auto-exposure.
