A7s II or a7s + shogun?

Hello, i have a big trouble here, i cant decide for any option.
I would use it for commercial video, restaurants, clubs, digital marketing etc

shogun pros : 422 pro res, no limit recording

a7s II : full hd 120 fps, stabilizer.

any comment? thank you :)

I would take the A7s II without the Shogun because it can record 4K internal while its predecessor cannot. For the A7s you still need a recorder to get 4K.
If you take the A7s II your entiry camera package will be smaller and lighter and makes it easier to operate which is very important because you never have time on set. You never have...
And XAVC S is a very good codec. Not as good as ProRes of course but still very good. Also the internal stabalizer and the better ergonomics speak for the A7s II.

I would recommend the A7S II and maybe get an external monitor (Small HD 502)

Eric's point about smaller lighter is important. I have the A7S and an Atomos Ninja Assassin with a solid Noga Cine Arm. I recently took it out on a one-man shoot as an A-Cam. It did the job, but there were spots where the bulkiness really got in the way and the HDMI connection dropped out a couple of times. Part of that is my mistake, I probably shouldn't have chosen that set-up if there was a chance I would need to turn run and gun. But if I had the A7SII, I wouldn't have had to think twice.

The thing I do like about the A7S + Atomos combo is the ability to dual record.
