Best DSLR Straps

Pretty simple question but something I've been searching. Any recommendations on comfortable, versatile, and durable straps? I'm working with a 5d and soon a a7s. Thanks!

Blackrapid makes some really nice straps. You can look online for the set of features that interest you. I bought my set cheap on ebay, and got the Cargo model.

Lately I've been tempted by the Joby Pro Sling Strap for a more minimal strap to just keep on be all the time. I wonder if anyone here has tried it out?

Definitely what David said! The Blackrapids are AMAZING. I usually don't run a strap when I'm rocking, but for photo work, I'm all about Metro on my D90.

Another option that is significantly cheaper than these options and may work with what you already have is picking up a postal service shoulder pad like the one here:

It might seem a little crazy, but the padding on these is amazing. Like I said, I don't usually run straps for video work, but on all my camera, laptop, and ditty bags, I have these shoulder pads on the strap.

Try the sling belts -- these are generics that multiple manufacturers make.

Here is a $13 from Cowboy Studios that I had for a year and that I trust my piece to:

The main advantage over a lot of other offers is that you can screw a tripod's quick release plate into the strap's plate. The very first picture in the second link shows that tripod hole -- they really listened to the videographers' feedbacks! This saves a looot of time for me on the set -- releasing the plate, hanging the camera over shoulder while relocating the slider / tripod.

I'll be surprised if you don't fall in love!

Good luck!

I swear by Peak Design's stuff (https://peakdesign.com/store/?c=straps). I Kickstarted their leash/cuff combo back in the day (and their Capture Camera Clip system), and I'm extremely happy with them.
