Canon XC10 Hands On Review

First hands on review I've found for the new Canon XC10 video camera...

Rather positive review (even if it helps having a Shogun...) but the question is: Was this a pre-production model? The NR performance is something I've heard has been improved in production..

The author of the article states "I bought this little camera as a companion or B-camera for my Canon C100 and this is my review" under the first photo of the XC10, so I strongly suspect this is one of the first production cameras that started shipping about one week ago. ( Nobody buys a pre-production camera)

I could definitely see using the XC10 on a gimbal with that 24mm lens in some tight spaces during a wedding day. During bride and groom preps the rooms can be small which makes certain lenses useless. I was considering a XC10 so I could get into those tight spaces but went with the 5DIV instead because of the EF glass I already have and the ability to shoot photos. I don’t have a 24mm but my 35mm does the job just fine.
