Clip on monitor for camera

Hi all,

Just bought a DJI Ronin MX and need a clip on monitor to clip on the top bar --

Looking for something good but not too expensive.

I'm flying Canon cinema and DSLR cameras also...

The cheapest monitor that I own is this one: http://goo.gl/7Dwp94

It's sharp, high resolution, fairly bright, low cost, and light weight. It's only drawback is that it's a 6-bit monitor so you may see banding in the image sometimes, but given that it's $140 monitor you really can't complain.

Moving up in price I would look at this monitor: http://goo.gl/n7oOYb

About double the price, but it's an 8-bit display and it's a full 1920x1200 resolution, so it's easy to tell if things are in focus or not.

You will need to use a monitor shade when shooting outside with these monitors, which is true for all monitors until you get into the HDR brightness range monitors which cost about $1,000 or more.

Yes the 7 inch size is a little more bulky to shoot with, but they are so much better when trying to make sure things are in focus, as it's immediately obvious when you look at them if things are in focus or not. ( 7 inch are also cheaper than 5 inch monitors )

I just noticed that IKAN released a new 5 inch monitor that looks like a good fit too. It's more expensive at $349, but it has a similar feature set as the 7 inch monitor I listed above, and it looks like it can be powered by Canon camera batteries.
