Director Decisions

I’ve been working on a project for a few months, and I really owe it to my friend for helping make it happen - but I’m the director/main editor and really started the project, but lately it’s felt like he’s trying to call the shots and not trust my vision for the project, going so far as showing it to others without letting me know first and telling me what I should do.

I’ve tried discussing with him but it seems we just keep burying heads. Thoughts?

That's a tough one. I've been in somewhat similar situations. Depending on the project and the friendship, it might be best to deal with it until you can finish and make sure the friendship ends up ok. Then make it very clear on the next project that it's under your control.
