DIY CFast to SSD Adapter! Thoughts?

I recently came across a video by a DP named Cammon Randle on YouTube where he explains a super simple DIY CFast to SSD adapter that him and someone else came up with. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/gMO_2-Q62ZA

In the description of the video, Cammon provides links to everything needed to wire up the adapter.

Also, I do remember seeing a Kickstarter campaign for something similar called the C Box. These could be something to keep in mind for all those Ursa and Ursa Mini users out there.

What are your guys' thoughts on this? There are some downsides to it, but this thing can save you a lot of coin!

P.S. - The guy who made the video looks a lot like Tom Cruise and even kind of sounds like him, too. It's kind of scary, but kind of awesome at the same time.

I own a CBox. At the time, I could but that and 2 240GB SSDs for less than I had paid for 2 128GB CFast 2.0 cards.

The cost of the breakout cables, at the time was $85 each. The rest of the parts totaled up to about $250. It made more sense for me, to go with the CBox. The time spend building it would have be worth much more than $250.

It has proven itself to be an invaluable tool for use with my Ursa. I highly recommend them, but anything to avoid the high cost of CFast 2.0 is worth it in my book.
