DON'T. STOP. RUNNING - The First Trailer

Hello all - just wanted to share the first trailer for my feature, DON'T. STOP. RUNNING.

Victorian England. Two estranged brothers - thrown together for a treasure hunt - find that they are the ones being hunted. As they race across a harsh and unforgiving landscape they realise that if they want to survive they’ll have to work together.

I gave you a youtube subscribe. Want to see the feature. The waterfall and shoreline really bring up the production value from an indie 'shot in the woods'. You got the points across of different personalities (scared/adventurous), treasure, family, dangerous from more than just the location (some one following).

Love that you got sunbeams in a wood shot... was that just the location or did you add the fog/smoke to the scene for that?

If I were to provide critique... trim up the front of the trailer. We don't need someone saying he's afraid... we just need to see him afraid of the dark. The 'get in the boat' helps solidify that.

Also I noticed... and don't know if this is normal or not (or even a problem)... a lot of colorization in the film. It's jump from bright, to low saturation, to mid-day. The color feel across the trailer didn't feel consistent. Probably grabbed from color-graded scenes?

And the marketer in me wants to say: hey, fill out your youtube profile! You have 4.5 hundred views... what is your CTA? What do you want these viewers like me to do to know about future updates? I have to type all that in a URL? You didn't add a place for me to click or a bit at the end telling me your preferred method for me to get updates?

Cheers Ethan - thanks for the feedback! I'll get on the CTA ASAP!

The sunbeams in the wood - we had a little handheld gas-powered smoke machine called an Artem smoke gun, and a fair amount of luck!
