A film movement that shook the world: Japanese New Wave

Japanese New Wave or Nouvelle Vague is a film movement which occurred in Japan from mid 1950s to late 1970s and changed the world’s perspective towards Japanese cinema. The golden age of Japanese film industry has serious contribution to the world of film. This Nouvelle Vague was born within the studio system and escalated from there.

Yes! I watched some of the Japanese movies of that time ,like Masaki Kobayashi, 1959. Harakiri. Masaki Kobayashi, 1962. Samurai Rebellion. Masaki Kobayashi, 1967. Kwaidan. Masaki Kobayashi, 1964. they are awesome.
