Latest Canon C100 kit vs Canon C100 Mark ii

I would like to know if you think that Canon's new camera is a good upgrade?

For the price 5.500 USD (body only) vs the 5.800 USD new kit (Canon EOS C100 Kit with Dual Pixel CMOS AF, EF24-105 Lens, Atomos Ninja 2, SSD, HDMI Cable & Magic Arm)

I think the new kit is superior to the upgrade, what are your opinions?

(both for the one's upgrading from the basic C100 and the new buyers)

60fps and fixing the horrible EVF are a big deal. I would only buy the original C100 if the price was right. ( $4,000 for a new body, less for a used one )

I still wonder if Canon is planning on bringing out a 4K model by NAB 2015, as the whole world is slowly switching over to 4K.

I own a C100 which I use and rent. Although it would be great to get rid of the avchd codec and get a better EVF, I wouldn't buy a non 4K camera right now.

Well, what I see of the upgrade, I think it is a greater camera we get. I was about to buy the first C100, but of different reasons we waited for the investment. Now the time is right, and what I see is we get a much better camera. The new viewfinder, the screen now is flexible, like on some of the DSLR from Canon. new and better sensor, with amazing images at ISO 20.000. Shooting 4k, but are internal downscaled to 1920x1080. No need to do this in post. New internal mic, so you can have a reference audio, no need for the handle here, which means a much smaller and compact camera, for me with documentaries... Amazing. Facedetection that works very well.. so when have run and gun shooting, or on movi/steadicam... it is amazing... The 40% slow and 240% fast also a thing that can be a great thing. 1080p 60fps suits me very well...
So I´m happy and looking forward to get this camera and together with the ninja Blade...

Just an FYI, the Mark II does NOT work with the MoVi stabilizer. You can't remove the viewfinder. I rented one this weekend to use on a MoVi 10 and it knocks against the gimbal. It's a shame because the original c100 works great.

Are you sure about that? This guy seems to get it working. What's different in his setup?
