Let's Build a Community!

Hello everyone!

Writing from the perspective of a new filmmaker, I've spent the better part of last year working to understand the basics of lighting, editing, visual storytelling, and getting familiar with my camera.

The more time that passes, the more I realize I just need to get out there and start creating. So this past week I shot my first short form film(or what I would consider to be my first serious shoot) and I learned a ton from that, but I feel like I'm having trouble breaking into the filmmaking community in my area.

Matt Workman of Cinematography Database dropped a video a few weeks ago encouraging filmmakers to post their location, website, and Instagram to connect filmmakers in the industry.

Why not do that here?

Louisville, Kentucky

Disclaimer: My content is awful right now(work in progress). I'm new in the cinematography world and hungry to learn, but please feel free to comment or give feedback on any of these.

I'm looking forward to seeing who else is out here!
