Looking for a great Cinematographer in Los Angeles

We are shooting this compelling little movie and would love to chat with interested Cinematographer looking for something for their reel (I point out the reel element because thats all we can offer! WE'RE BROKE...but good.)

I'm looking for an amazing architect who's never designed anything because all I'm willing to offer in return is the claim that he built my house (guy with no connections or money).

My advice is to save up some money so you can pay people, or try to put it on a credit card. You won't get many responses if it's non-paying.

I'd strongly advise against going into personal credit card debt to make a film. There's a strong chance you'll never make a dime from the project, but the debt has the potential to weigh you down for years to come. It's not worth it.

As much as I'd like to give a snarky response to this, my advice is to hit up film students or hobbyists. And treat them well. And feed them. And don't waste their time. And if they do a reasonable job, actively promote them and send business their way.

If you aren't prepared to do that, good luck.

Lol this was still snarky...
