I'm sorry, but this was just not my type of movie... For more than half the film it's all talking heads and somewhat inhuman dialogue. Inhuman as in, as a person in real life, I myself could never see people talking this way. What they're speaking is more of the language of like your mind and conscience, so I guess that's what you were aiming for.

Not hating but it actually bored me to the point that I clicked away at about 4 minutes in, but clicked back because I knew there had to be more than just that. Sure, after about 4 minutes more of talking heads, at which time they walked toward your usual sunburst-white-glowy heaven thing, and then I'm not really sure what happened.

By that time I understood where she was: in her mind, or conscience at least, and I thought she was just waiting to pass on. But when she started to as whether something existed... heaven or hell? ... she was pulled back to mortality, and I'm still unsure as to why.

Or maybe I'm wrong about all of this. Is this something you can explain to me or is it something you want the viewers to feel and discover for themselves?

I hope I don't come across as unkind, as this is just my opinion, and there are obviously others who've enjoyed it, so it's not a bad film. And I agree with the others that the photography was beautiful, I would have gone with a bit less punchy color grade, but thats just me.

"But then she started to *question* as to whether something existed..." I'm always doing this.
