This is ARRI Alexa and RED, so if cost is an issue then you're not ready to play their game. ( way too expensive for me )

For the rest of us there is Aputure's DEC system for wireless autofocus and aperture control of Canon EF lenses for less than $400. You will need to shoot with either a Panasonic or Sony mirrorless camera.

Yes! Aputure is now working on a more traditional follow-focus style of controller, which should be out later this year.
