Prime Video Direct vs. Traditional Distributor
We've announced that our film will release on Prime Video Direct in May. However, a distributor came in last minute and wants to acquire the distro rights. A talent management company is considering taking us on as well to manage the deal-making process. Distributor is small, but presents a 50/50 split on streaming rights with 25/75 on hard copy sales. Do we stick at Prime or make the move to a distributor, postpone release for the distributor? Thoughts? Things to be weary of? What's the play here, in the eyes of NFS?
