Shooting a music video at 18fps

Hi all,

Just had a thought - if I'm shooting a music video at 18fps, will I have to slow down the song so that it's synched up to the singer's lips?

something like this? https://newcaribbeancinema.wordpress.com/2010/05/18/speeding-up-a-song-t...

Hey Alex,

I'm shooting a roll of Super 8mm of a person singing on a wall. Just want to make sure the song won't fall out of synch if I shoot at 18fps instead of the usual 24fps

Nope it won't. With audio, a second is a second, it doesn't really matter how many frames happen in that second.

Also since you're shooting 18fps, I recommend making your final renders 29.97i with upper fields first.
