The VALVe STEAM Gaming Platform Has a Movie Section

As a long time Half-Life fanatic ( I bought Half-Life 1 when it first came out and played it to death, and since then have bought everything that VALVe has produced ), I was surprised to notice that the STEAM gaming platform now has a movie tab and lists more than a dozen Indie films for sale on the platform.

I knew that VALVe was planning on moving into TV and movies at some point in the future, but I did not expect it to happen for a while.

Given that STEAM has more than 30 million subscribers worldwide, I imagine that this could be a great platform to launch your Indie film whether it's for sale or for free.

Thank-you VALVe!

I'll settle for the release of Half-Life 3...

FYI: The Steam-Box is being officially released this November from about a dozen different manufacturers, which makes me suspicious that something very special might be released at the same time to promote all these Steam-Boxes.
